Our Mandate
To fulfill our mandate, “to support Veterans and their families in our community,” we focus on:
- Support for our Veterans through financial and emotional support. You do not need to be a Legion member to access our Support for Veterans.
- Supporting Youth. Our Youth section highlights meaningful ways young people can get involved in honouring and remembering Canada’s Veterans. We also provide bursaries to children related to Veterans to help them access university, college, technical, or professional education. Our Bursaries and Scholarships page explains how to apply.
- Supporting Legion Seniors (and seniors in general) through advocacy, assistance and activities. Please see our Legion Seniors page.
Besides supporting Veterans, seniors and youth in our community, there are plenty of social events all across Zone G5 in the different branches. Join us for any of our weekly social events or find out how to rent one of the many branch halls to host your own event.

Branch Social Events
