Christ Church Anglican Cathedral, 414 Sparks Street, Ottawa
Saturday, October 24th at 8 p.m.

The North Lakeshore Chorus, a community based choir, with accomplished singers from the north shore of Lake Ontario are presenting “For King & Country”, a choral tribute to the 110th anniversary of The Battle of Beaumont Hameland the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Legion at Christ Church Anglican Cathedral on Saturday, October 24th at 8 pm. A freewill offering will be taken in aid of the church.
I would be most grateful if you could post information about the concert for your branch members. Our piper will be Donald MacDonald, who is well known in the Ottawa area. The choir is also singing at the National War Memorial just after 4 pm on October 24th and we are also at the Canadian War Museum to present a one hour concert at 1 pm on Sunday, October 25th.
Choir members travelled to Newfoundland in July this year journeying from St.John’s to Cornerbrook. We sang at churches, Royal Canadian Legions and war memorials on 23 occasions and performed at Government House in the presence of the Her Honour, Lieutenant Governor.
Any assistance with publicity would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
